John Robinson enlisted in the Australian Imperial Force on the 29/9/1915. His next of kin is listed as Miss. C. Malony, Royal Hotel, Shepparton, On his certificate of medical examination on the 29/9/1915 he is described as being 21 years and 2 months, height 5 feet 5 and a half inches, weight 8 stone 4 pounds, chest measurement 32-35 inches, complexion - fair, eyes - grey, hair - fair and religious denomination - Methodist. His distinctive marks were Vaccination marks - 3 outer side of left arm. John was admitted to hospital twice - once with diphtheria on the 30/1/1916 and the other time for scarlet fever on 2/2/1916. He was mustered as a driver then later became a gunner. On the 21/6/1916 he was charged with irregular conduct on parade. John was killed in action in France on the 20 Jan 1917.
