Marriage Notes: married by Vicar Davis Morgan Ivor Anthony on a Friday night at the 1st Christ Church Cathedral , Lydiard Street, Ballarat. Jack had previously sold him a car and part of the deal was that he would perform the marriage ceremony for no fee.
He enjoyed lots of hobbies - cars, motorbikes, pushbikes,photography. Was involved in Peugeot club and rallies and hillclimbs until leaving Victoria
He was educated in 1936-1939 in Ballarat Junior Technical School, Ballarat, Victoria.
He worked as a Fitter and Turner in 1940-1959 in Ronaldson-Tippett.
He had a residence on 12 Dec 1947 in 416 Dawson Street, Ballarat, Victoria.
He had a residence in 1948 in 106 Walker Street, Ballarat, Victoria. First house bought new from the builder with a loan from the ES&A Bank with a personal recommendation from Ken Vagg.
Sold because road was unsealed and lack of transport nearby. Dorothy did not like the fact that Geoffrey's new pram was being dirtied by mud whenever she needed to go out.
