The death occurred at Rochford on Monday last of Mr. David Mitchell Cook, a very old and highly respected resident of that district. In addition to a widow, deceased leaves the following family to mourn their loss, viz: - John, Marian (Mrs Wuchatsch), Eliza, David, Jean (Mrs Atkin), Mary and Rena (Mrs Thorburn).
The remains were interred in the Lancefield Cemetery on Wednesday, the Rev. J. Armour officiating at the grave.
