David Mitchell Cook

  General Notes:

The Lancefield Mercury, Friday, July 13 1923.
The death occurred at Rochford on Monday last of Mr. David Mitchell Cook, a very old and highly respected resident of that district. In addition to a widow, deceased leaves the following family to mourn their loss, viz: - John, Marian (Mrs Wuchatsch), Eliza, David, Jean (Mrs Atkin), Mary and Rena (Mrs Thorburn).
The remains were interred in the Lancefield Cemetery on Wednesday, the Rev. J. Armour officiating at the grave.

David married Jane Armstrong, daughter of John Armstrong and Jane Symington Buntine, in 1877 in Lancefield, Victoria Australia. (Jane Armstrong was born in 1850 in Oakvale, Victoria Australia, died on 2 Nov 1934 in “Athlone”, Rochford, Victoria Australia and was buried on 3 Nov 1934 in Lancefield Cemetery, Victoria Australia.)
