The death occurred at his residence, “The Hill”., Rochford, on Friday night last of Mr. James Armstrong, a well-known and highly respected farmer. Deceased, was 71 years of age, leaves three sisters Mrs. Cook, Eliza (Rochford) and Mrs Norquay (Sydney). The funeral, which was largely attended, took place at the Lancefield Cemetery on Sunday. The Rev. Buntine officiated at the graveside. The funeral arrangements were carried out by Mr. Wm Gallpen.
