Why wouldn't they have come forward with some family details?
However, a later e-mail from Betty May Crockett [betjack@bigpond.com] suggests:
Jane Elizabeth died whilst staying at her daughter Lillian's home at Toronto. The family did not abandon her at death. Lillian had just buried her husband Walter and her daughter Pearl and was still paying for their funerals, she could not afford to also pay for her Mums (Jane) funeral and thus she applied to have her buried as a government burial and this is why there are no details listed on Jane's death certificate.
The A J Wark listed as informant on Lillian Kathleens death certificate is the husband of Elaine, they married in 1955.
Jane married John Buckley, son of James Buckley and Sophia Baker, on 7 Oct 1884 in St Peters C of E, East Maitland, NSW Australia.
