birth place is handed down information through the family. The records for the SIMMONS family throughout time have had various spellings. SIMMONS - SEMMONS - SYMONS - SYMMONS - SIMMENS - SEMMENS - SYMENS - SYMMENDS - all these variations again with the letter D have also surfaced at times, so for the ease of usage with the computer I have used the spelling SIMMONS. Unfortunately the magnificent headstone of Thomas & Margaret has been pushed over by the large roots of a pine tree and has now been broken (2005)
