• Occupation. worked as a draper with his brother Caleb. Also held the liquor licence for the Terminal Hotel at Wallsend in 1914 only. The Terminus was built and opened in 1885 by Richard Richards on the site of the Old Travellers Rest in Kemp St Wallsend and is still standing in 1998
