Dr Frank Lawry Firkin

Studied medicine in Australia, gaining his degree in 1924 from the University of Sydney, and in 1936-37 studied in England, gaining a Diploma from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Was presented with the Order of Commander of St John of Jerusalem by the Queen for his work with St Johns Ambulance.
