George moved to Bendigo and married Mary Prowse, he is reported to have had a beautiful singing voice and became well knownin the Bendigo area winning many singing competitions. He was offered a scholarship overseas to study singing but turned it down.

He was apparently offered a scholarship overseas to study singing but turned it down. Nothing else is known of the family at this point in time other than the fact that they resided in Bendigo.

George married Mary Elizabeth Prowse. (Mary Elizabeth Prowse was born circa 1880 and died in 1928 ⁸⁹.)
