Birth reg as SAVEL marriage reg as SAVELLE according to Stan THOMAS (author of One Hundred and Thirty Years - a Family Story {of the THOMAS family}), "her father drove the mail coach from Sydney to Goulburn; one time it was believed to be carrying money concealed on the coach and was held up by Ben Hall's gang. Shots were fired and Mr Savell was severly wounded in the back. As a result, he spent the remained of his life in a wheelchair."
