Eliza Esther is probably the most interesting of the family. She was born 19 Jan 1856, her birth certificate gives her father as John Wilson and her mother as Charlotte, nee Goodson. They married 17/2/1845. However, in 1851 census Charlotte is a widow, a housekeeper to Peter Scheydt, a German born wine importer. I have Eliza's baptism certificate showing Peter Scheydt as her father, at the time of her birth he was 65!!
As seen above, Eliza gives her father as a Peter Wilson, deceased but he did not die until 1879.
Witness Dorothea Burghart was her cousin.

Charlotte married John or Peter Wilson on 17 Feb 1845. (John or Peter Wilson was born circa 1820.)
