Obituaries
Mrs. Robert Kiessling
Jefferson - Mrs. Robert Kiessling, 58, of 6904 Elm St., McLean, Va., died this morning at her home following a lingering illness.
The former Evelyn Bienfang was born Jan. 21, 1912, in Jefferson. She was married June 4, 1938, to Robert Kiessling.
Survivors are her husband; two sons, John, Reno, Nev., and Robert, Jr., McLean, Va.; two daughters, Bonnie and Brenda, both at home; two grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Emma Bienfang, Jefferson; three sisters, Mrs. Elvira Blasing, Jefferson, Mrs. Ethel Natter, Lancaster, and Mrs. Ivan Foote, Albany.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in McLean, Va. The family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.

Jefferson - (Special) - Announcement is made of the marriage of Miss Evelyn Bienfang, daughter of Mrs. Edward Bienfang, Racine street, and Robert Kiessling, son of Mr. and Mrs. William, Kiessling, Fourth street.
The ceremony was performed on June 4, in Washington, D. C., by the Rev. Oscar Blalckwelder at the Reformation Lutheran church.
They were attended by Miss Peggy Mathers and Oscar Kiessling, brother of the groom.
After a sort wedding trip up the Appalachian trail in the Shenandoah mountains of Virginia, they will reside in Washington, D. C., where the groom is doing research work for the department of the interior. Mrs. Kiessling has been employed by the federal trade commission in that city.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Kiessling are graduates of Jefferson high school with the class of 1928 and Mr. Kiessling is also a graduate of the University of Wisconsin in 1933. Mrs. Kiessling attended Milton college and then was employed in Milwaukee for seven years before going to Washington about a year ago.
