MRS. AUGUST GOES.
Mrs. August Goes, 69, died at Baldwin Rest home, 508 South Warren, Thursday morning, after a five week illness. Born Emma Versele in Detroit, Aug. 29, 1872 she was married to August Goes on Aug. 19, 1897. He died June 24, 1939. A resident of Saginaw for 40 years, she was a member of St. John's Episcopal church. She leaves a son, J. Lyman Goes of Saginaw; two sisters and one brother, Mrs. Glen Vandagrift and Miss Louise Versele of Detroit, and Frank Versele of Roseville.

Emma married August Goes, son of Johann Michael Göss and Anna Maria Pfeffer, on 18 Aug 1897 in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan USA. (August Goes was born on 17 Mar 1862 in Jefferson County, Wisconsin USA, died on 24 Jun 1939 in Saginaw Township, Saginaw County, Michigan USA and was buried on 26 Jun 1939 in Roselawn Cemetery, Saginaw County, Michigan.)
