Sidney William BRAY was born in 1898 in Riverstone, NSW, Aust. He was the son of Arthur Augustus Bray and Annie Florence Dawes. Sidney William Bray, bread carter, of 22 Donelly St Balmain NSW married Alice Lillian Hird in 31 July 1920 at St.Thomas's Church of England in Balmain West, NSW. Sidney and "Lil" Bray had three children: Alfred Allen Bray (b. 17Aug1921); Eileen Lillian Bray (b.1924), and Ronald Bray (b.1927). Prior to Sidney's retirement, he worked loading and unloading cargo ships (no containers then, just palets and crates) at the Donelly Street wharves at Balmain NSW. Sidney William Bray died in 1963 in Balmain, NSW.
