Mary Anna Larkin

  General Notes:

Mary was the daughter of Nicholas and Sophie. In 1830 she married William Winton from Ringmer they had 4 children in England before they migrated to Australia in 1838 on the boat 'Union'. They were accompanied by Nicholas and Sophie Larkin.
After William and Mary's arrival in Australia they had 3 more children.

After Williams death Mary carried on at Upchurch farm. It is believed thatshe recieved help from her brother, Edward. She died and the age of 97 1/2, and was alert and active, but apparently suffered a fall from her bed.

Mary married William Henry Winton, son of Robert Winton and Mary Sarah Jenner, on 24 Apr 1830 in St James C of E, Ewhurst, Sussex England.⁸² (William Henry Winton was born on 1 Jul 1805 in Ringmer, Lewes, East Sussex England,⁸² died on 2 Mar 1861 in Appin, Campbelltown, Sydney, NSW Australia ⁷ and was buried on 3 Mar 1861 in Appin Anglican Cemetery, NSW Australia Plot A.)
