Certificate in possession of Mary P Liddicott Appears to come from a poor family. The census shows her as a servant in one family, her mother a housekeeper to another family, and a father in a lodging house. A very hard-working woman. She used to 'finish' knitted gloves. This meant sewing up the finger ends and turning them right side out and pairing them up. She used to make soup from cheap vegetables.
