• Military. He enlisted in the 1st AIF on 6 Aug 1915 and served as a private in the First Pioneers. His Regimental Number was 4016. He returned to Australia on 12 May 1919.

John married Mary Walsh in 1928 in Goulburn, NSW Australia. (Mary Walsh was born circa 1900.)
