Lily Gorrie Nicol/Martin was my beloved grandmother. (Lily on birth certificate and death certificate but Lilly on marriage certificate.) George and Ellen Nicol were her grandparents. As a child I spent a lot of time around the Lithgow/Portland areas where the Nicol family lived so have a real affinity with the area west of the Mountains. My mother was the daughter of Lily.
