• Medical. Helen Sophia's niece, Mrs Kitty Coates nee Winchester, recalls that Helen had heart disease and became very ill in 1939. Kitty had arranged to marry in that year, and her aunt told her that she wanted to see her married and would live at least unitl the wedding. She was present at the wedding in May but died on 28th June.
