Alexandra Sutherland lived in 1903 at Cobar, NSW. In 1905 their eldest child, Barbara ("Bonnie"), was sick but wanted to go out horse-riding, Allie said 'no' and Harry said 'yes'. So off she went and became very sick. Following the death of his daughter Bonnie, Harry had a break-down and literally walked away.

Alexandra married Henry Cyril (Harry) Rogers, son of George Rogers Snr and Margaret Ramage, on 16 Mar 1893 in Cornish Town, Cobar, NSW Australia at the Residence of Hugh Sutherland. (Henry Cyril (Harry) Rogers was born on 8 Aug 1866 in Wingello, NSW Australia, died on 16 Jul 1942 in West Wyalong, NSW Australia and was buried in Rookwood Cemetery, Lidcombe, Sydney, NSW Australia.)
