Mary Casey remarried in 1853- 8^th August at St. Stephen's Richmond, stating widow, three children alive and two dead. The witnesses are a married couple who lived on Carlton Estate or Unwin's Survey. It is interesting that Mary returned to this area and married James Eccleston who could have helped when she and Shadrack first lived nearby. From a 1866 birth cert of another local family, these words are written in "witness" column- Midwife Mrs Mary Eccleston, Templestowe.

Mary married Shadrach Blake, son of Charles Gilbert Blake and Ann Hawkins, on 5 Apr 1847 in St James C of E, Melbourne, Victoria Australia.⁴⁶⁵ (Shadrach Blake was born in 1809 in Trowbridge, Wiltshire England ⁴⁶⁶, christened on 7 May 1809 in Trowbridge, Wiltshire England ⁴⁶⁵ and died after 1852.)
