Daws - Seymour A wedding in which the principal participants were very popular. (says the Wagga ".Express "), was celebrated at St John's Church, on Wednesday, Nov 13th. -the contracting" parties being Mr. Fredk. Daws, of B roadford, Victoria, and'.Miss.Ada Seymour, third daughter of Mr G. Seymour, of Wan tahbadgery, near Wagga. The bride was escorted to the altar by Mr. C. A Cannon,who gave her away, and wore a bridal costume of- cream silk voile, with trimmings of silk and chiffon,set off with the customary wreath and veil, She also wore a handsome star and cresent brooch, and carried a -beautiful bouquet,' both the gifts ,of the bride groom.. The br ide. was at'tended by three maids, her sisters. .Misses Amy Alice, and Winnie Seymour acting in that capacity. They were attired in white.Indian muslin, trimmed with Valenciennes laces, and set off with pale green, sashes. They also " wore gold -pendants,; and carried pretty bouquets, the gift of the bridegroom The office of best man was filled by Mr. Robert Seymour and the officiating clergyman was Archdeacon Wentworth Shields. The biride's mother wore black silk with black toque. After the ceremony at the Church, the wedding party drove to the Club House. Hotel, the residence of the bride's aunt, where the breakfast was partaken of, after which suitable toasts were honored. That of the bride and bridegroom was happily proposed by the chairman Archdeacon Wentworth Shields, and after the response by the bridegroom, Mr. F. Anderson proposed the health of the bride's parents the toast being responded to by Mr. C. A. Cannon. " The Bridesmaids" was proposed by Mr. E. Seymour, and the response made by. Mr R. Seymour, after which Mr. Geo. Thornton, pro posed " The Chairman", to which Archdeacon Wentwortb-Shields 're sponded. Mr. and Mrs Daws left by the " paper "train .en route to Melbourne, where the honeymoon is to be spent, and were accorded a send-off by a large number of friends. The bride's going away dress was of navy blue crepeline, trimmed with white silk and guipure, and.she also wore a pretty black picture hat.
