Eleanor Frances Dady
General Notes: Worked in a Milliner's and Drapers shop in Stonebridge Middlesex then wi th her sister Doll at Hardings baker and confectioners shop also in Stoneb ridge and at Alders in Croydon living with an Aunt Polly and the Dinage fa mily. Returned to Wembley to live with sister Doll in St John's Road and w orking in the Ministry of Pensions Office in Regents Park. Met her futu re husband Percival Ballard in 1919. Eleanor married Percival Ballard, son of William Ballard and Emma North, in 1921. (Percival Ballard was born on 15 Dec 1892 and died in 1993 in Funtington, Chichester, West Sussex England.) |
