Martha Bebbington

  General Notes:

Paul Sherrard Scholey : according to Grace Bailey, Charlie Bailey was fir st married to a Martha Bebbington who having got wet whilst out in the po ny & trap, caught pneumonia and died. Grace thought that she was not loca l, perhaps coming from the West Midlands area. Their only child, Mary Lizz ie, was a bridesmaid to my grandmother Lawn's wedding and is stood on t he extreme left in the photo elsewhere on this tree.

Martha married Charles Bailey, son of Joseph Bailey and Elizabeth Simpson. (Charles Bailey was born in 1842 in Saxton In Elmet, West Yorkshire England.)
