Out of (vague) interest, one of Richard KILBY's descendants, George Seymour KILBY was a member of the Gloucestershire Yeomanry (Hussars)- with formed part of the Australian Mounted Division (famous, of course, for the Australian Light Horse charge at Beersheba) in the 1916/1917 Middle East campaign. Sadly George died in 1916. He's commemorated on the Commonwealth memorial at Basra, Iraq.
