His borner crossing document on the 12th May states that he is 5' 7" aged 34, born London, England and refers to New York, Jan 19,.1911. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~On the On the 1st June 1916, we find his wife, Rose Alice Bathgate following Sidney, out from Liverpool, arriving at Quebec aboard the ss Majestic, aged 32, she states the name of her nearest relative or friend in country whence she came, being Mrs Louisa Bank, sister, Candia, Crete, Greece.
