Just type in William Heptinstall on your search engine and it will bring up the web page.I found his grave on a holiday to Scotland. He was born at Pontefract Yorkshire and then lived at Scarborough before going to run a Hotel in Glen Lyon Perthshire. He was a real character with a bit of a temper. If people did not arrive on time to eat at his restaurant he would refuse to serve them!! ( I was told this by an employee at the Hotel when I visited in the 1980's.) His grave is in the churchyard which is next door to the hotel and nearby is the oldest yew tree in Europe.

William married Victoria May Smith, daughter of John Henry Smith and Louisa. (Victoria May Smith was born in 1898 in Adwick Le Street, Doncaster, Yorkshire England and died on 10 Jun 1932 in Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland UK.)
