I live in England following 18 years I have finally restored a Traction Engine that was owned by J.T. Daldy. After looking through the Trove web site I have found some information about the Daldy Bros.

J.T.Daldy was using the engine to transport mining props and firewood to the Mines at Rutherglen and Chiltern in 1894-1905. by 1905 the engine was worn out.

If you have information about the Daldy Brothers, Engine or Forestry work they carried out around Beechworth, Warrandyt I would be more that delighted.
