HO107 / 139/1 23 8. 1851 Census Shows - Thomas RUSSELL (Parish Clerk of Sithney - age 59) living at ?Nettles Hill, Helston, Cornwall with his wife Ursula (age 50) and their childen James (Unmarried - Wheelwright Employin 2 men - age 27), Emma (Unmarried - Dress Maker - age 25), Mary M (Unmarried - Milliner - age 23), Maria (Unmarried - Drapers Assistant - age 21), Lucy (Unmarried - Shop Assistant - age 17), 'Allice' E (Milliner's Apprentice - age 15) and Thomas J (Scholar - age 11). RG9 / 1572 54 4. 1871 Census Shows - Thomas RUSSELL (Retired Miller - age 79) living at Coinagehall Street, Helston, Cornwall with his wife Ursular (age 70). RG10 / 2303 55 4. Thomas is buried at Sithney Churchyard, Sithney, Cornwall in a grave he shares with his wife Ursula. The inscription on their headstone reads - In Affectionate Remembrance Of THOMAS RUSSELL 45 Years Clerk of this Parish Who died Dec. 28th 1872 Aged 83 Years. Also of Ursula Wife of the above Who died Sept 13th 1779 Aged 78 Years. That which thou sowest is not quickened except it die. Thomas' Death Registration - Vol 5c Page 145.
