Noted events in her life were:

• source. Matthew Anderson @ genes who states:
[Full Credit to David Densley for this part of the tree.ftw] There is 60 year old James Densley with his 55 year old wife, Martha are living at Magpie Bottom in Bristol St George with three children: Ann, 20; Issac, 18; and Mary, 15 . James was born in Gloucestershire as was Martha and the three children. James and Issac are colliers. James and Martha were the two referred to in extracts from the county goal. James was charged with the theft of three sacks of potatoes valued at a guinea on March 28, 1831. He was sentenced to six months in penitentiary. Martha was charged that "on May 26, 1831 she received 13 lbs. of bacon, 2 loaves of bread, and a pair of blue cloth trousers" which she knew were stolen. She was sentenced to a year in prison The goal records also record that James Densley was a 50 year old illiterate collier from St. George. He was 5ft. 41/4 inches tall, had dark hair, grey eyebrows, and grey eyes. His nose was large, forehead high and had two scars over his left knee and a scar on his left shin, had a dark complexion and a very hairy body. Martha was 4 feet, 11 inches tall with dark hair, hazel eyes, fresh complexion, and a rather sharp nose. She had a long face with a wide mouth that revealed that she lost most of her teeth. She had 2 small moles on her back, a mole on her right shoulder, between her shoulders, between her breasts, and on her right breast. We can assume that James was born about 1780 and Martha about 1785 in Gloucestershire and that they married about 1800, presumably in Bristol St. George. This ties in with the following "James was born 1781 which comes from death certificate, census, prison records. He was christened as an adult just before his son Isaac was married, and gives parents names as James and Hannah.

Eliza married Joseph Densley, son of Thomas Densley and Catherine Moxham, on 27 Dec 1812 in Walcot, Somerset England. (Joseph Densley was born on 26 Jan 1774 in Priston, Avon England and died 1844c in Bath, Somerset England.)
