He also says they had 5 children Mary Ann Pavitt (1844-1844), George (1846) WHO IS THE LINK BETWEEN US ACCORDING TO BARRY ROWLEY, Sarah (1848 to 1923) who married George Rowley (1845 to 1934) & had a son Garnet (1883 to 1948), Charles (1850 to 1923) & Jane (1852 to 1924)

The death record on BDM for Charles A Pavitt in 1923 lists father as George. My original source of information was from Suzanne Parkes & it has been confirmed by Yvonne Gibbs & also from LDS & Ancestry websites.
The date of death for both Charles & Sarah have been confirmed to insriptions available from records available from Rookwood cemetery web page so I'm fairly confident that George was his father rather than James.

Barry Rowley suggests that Sarah Pavitt's father was George Pavitt (1824) but Tricia says it was James Pavitt (1816)
James Pavitt had Charles Pavitt (1850) who married Sarah Ditcham (1862) both Tricia and Barry agree that Charles married Sarah Ditcham.
Sarah's father was John Ditcham (1808) & he also had James Ditcham (1872)
He had Edward Ditcham (? to 1956)
He had Anthony Ditcham (Tony) (1941)
He had Jodie Ditcham (1968) who married Dean Collins (my son)
