I have searched the the UK for his death record or that of his wife Catherine (Kathleen) without any joy, however they may have divorced (not sure how you look for divorced people) all I have ever found of Francis is that he was booked onto a ship that was going to Halifax, Canada however he never boarded and I have no further trace of him. Geoff Ridge (See family tree) felt that he may have gone to Australia.

Francis married Agnes. (Agnes was born in 1833-1836 in Torquay, Devon England.)
