Calvin Warby notes:
Jack & Minnie lived at 'Belah Camp' near Carinda NSW until drought intervened, so Jack went shearing around the district. In 1910 they moved to Lightening Ridge NSW where they operated a butcher's shop. In 1918 he drew 'Wyralla' which was a block off 'Homeview' between Dirranbandi and Hebel QLD AUS. Jack is listed in the Australian Pastoral Directories of 1923 & 1925. Both listings are for 'Homeview' St.George QLD. In 1923 he was holding 49 cattle & 1900 sheep & 1925 was holding 25 cattle & 1200 sheep. Later they bought Wombil between Dirranbandi & Bollon. Following Jack's death, Minnie sold both properties moved the NSW and bought a property at Tamworth and then another at Dubbo, where she died.
