Christiana Nicol (Annie) Williams

• fact. As a baby, she was taken by Mrs Chris Lamb, a sister of Ethel Rowe who subsequently married John Nicol, a son of Francis Walker Nicol, to be cared for by the Nicol grandparents at Appin. Christiana did not marry and died in 1904 aged 25. She is believed to have had tuberculosis and was staying with maternal relatives at Redbank, near Mudgee.
Presumably this all happened because her mother died during this childbirth.
