In the 1851 Hannah is described as a Garden labourer living with her parents, her brother Charles and illegitimate son Mark.
Next door are her sisters Martha and Ann Butler [nee Phillips] Martha is her aunt [Joseph's widow] and Rebecca is cousin James widow.

In 1861 Hannah has moved to Pailton she is 41 and lives with Thomas Cox and children Mary Ann, Sarah, and Emma Butler.
In 1871 at 51 she is escribed as housekeeper to Thomas, her brother Edmund and Charles Butler had moved to the area in 1850s to join brother James who had come in the late 1830s.

In 1881 at 61 Hannah is listed as a labourer's wife calling herself Hannah Cox.

In 1893 Thomas and Hannah finally marry after 40 yrs when Thomas's first wife Elizabeth dies in 1892. The couple married in the Registry Office in Letterworth on 3 May 1893.


Hannah married Biggs. (Biggs was born circa 1815.)


Hannah next married Thomas Cox on 3 May 1893 in Letterworth, Oxford England. (Thomas Cox was born in 1820.)
