• fact. Died unmarried and without issue, his estate is divided between his siblings and the major portion going to his brother Edward and his son Thomas. And Mr Robert Breese is bequeathed the sum of 50 pounds Will: Thomas Arnold This is the last Will and Testament of me Thomas Arnold ofMickleham in the County of Surry Gentleman I desire to be decently interred at the discretion of my Executors hereinafter named I direct that all my just Debts and Funeral and Testamentary Expenses be in the first place paid and discharged I give to my Brother Edward Arnold of Mickleham two hundred Pounds I give to my Sister Mrs Lee of Crawley fifty Pounds I give to my Sister Mrs Rawlinson fifty Pounds I give to my Sister Mrs Arnold the Widow of my late Brother Richard Arnold fifty Pounds I give to Mr Robert Breese ofMickleham fifty Pounds I give to all such Children of my xxxxxxx Brother Edward Arnold as shall be living at my decease except Edward Arnold his only Son twenty Pounds each But in case of the death of anyone or more of the said Children of my said Brother Edward Arnold in my life time I give the Legacy or Legacies of her or them so dying x xx unto and to be equally divided among the Survivors of them Share and Share alike And I will that all the said Legacies by me before bequeathed shall be paid to my said Legatees by my Executors hereinafter named out of my Personal Estate within six Calendar Months next after my decease And I trust that the Receipt of such of my said Legatees as are or shall be married Women for their respective Legacies shall be alone a sufficient Discharge to my said Executors on Payment thereof notwithstanding /\ t hat /\ their Coverture but the Legacy of fifty Pounds bequeathed by me to my Sister Mrs Lee it is my meaning shall not be considered to extinguish or discharge the Debt of one hundred and twenty Pounds now owing to me and secured by the Promissory Note of her late husband but that such Debt together with all such Interest agreed to be accepted by me as shall be due at my Decease shall be fully paid and satisfied to my Executors and I give and bequeath unto the said Edward Arnold my Nephew all the part and residue of my Moneys and Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever for his own absolute use and benefit and I constitute and appoint him my said Nephew Edward Arnold and his Son Thomas Arnold joint Executors of this my Will hereby revoking all former Wills by me heretofore made In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this nineteenth day of October in the Year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and thirteen Thos Arnold Signed sealed published and declared by the above named Thomas Arnold the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other of us have subscribed our Names as Witnesses thereto the Word "said Legatees" being first interlined between the twenty second and twenty third lines of this Will and the Words "for" and but being written on Erasures previously made William Skeet Running Horse Mickleham _ Tho Hart Dorking. Proved at London 27th January 1815 before the Worshipful Samuel Pearce Parrey Doctor of Laws and Surrogate by the Oath of Edward Arnold the Nephew one of the Executors to whom Admon was granted having been first sworn duly to administer Power reserved of making the life Grant to Thomas Arnold the other Executor
