On the night of the 1881 Census, John & Jane Richardson Whitehouse had the ir Grandson John (aged 4) and their grand-daughter Ada (aged 8) staying wi th them. John and Ada where born in Manchester and Harrowgate respectivel y.

All John & Jane's children had left home by 1881 with the exception of Sam uel who was out of work. Were John & Ada above Samuel's children?? or ju st visitors from their other children??
