Enquiry re Sarah from Elizabeth Hackett
'My Great Grandfather married Sarah Tilke and it caused the family to split in two as Sarah was the Maid that worked for the Hackett Family who were military & merchant bankers.'

'Karl was wrong, the Hacketts were not military as they were Dissenting ministers. It was my Grandmother (Kate Emily Quinn) not William Bealby's wife (Sarah Tilke) who worked for the family. Kate met George Clayton, then a widower, at the church for the deaf & dumb. Her family were Anglo-Irish & Somerset gentleman farmers. There were no military connections until my 2 sisters both married servicemen'
