John Edgar Hampton

John Edgar Hampton
General Notes: If you come across anything to do with John Edgar Hampton (1891) I shall be very interested. He apparantly ran off with the family silver (crested) we think with the name Pigeon. There is a bit more to ABH 1856. After Alberta (Lucy/Louisa) died he had another woman. Can't find any reference to a marriage but my mother knew the lady and she was wearing Alberta's brooch consisting of diamonds. He set up all the children with pubs either in Kent or London and sent the girls to convent schools. Plenty of money Noted events in his life were: • Resided: Aged 7 mth - Son - '7 Clarence Street' -, 1891 census, Lambeth Rd, London England. • Resided: Aged 10 - Son -, 1901 census, St Nicholas, Guildford, Surrey England. John married Mary McNillen about 1913. (Mary McNillen was born about 1881 in Kent, Sussex England.) |
