Georgiana, daughter of Thomas and Mary Jane, was named after another Irish Famine orphan who was sent to Moreton Bay with Mary Jane in 1848. Mary Jane and Georgiana were very good friends even after their marriage and the two families travelled to the Bathurst/Mudgee goldfields together in 1851.
