• source. & Doug Hooper who notes: He died on 7 Aug 1915 at Lone Pine, Gallipoli, Turkey. On 7/11/1914 he enlisted in the 8th Light Horse Regiment of the AIF. On 27/7/1915 he landed at Gallipoli and on 7/8/1915 he was listed as "Missing". His body was subsequently recovered as his personal effects were returned to his father.
