• fact. James was visiting Stewart and Annie Judd, nee Peck, on their farm on the Macleay River. About 5.30 Sunday morning he went for a swim in the river where a shark attacked him ripping his left left so severely that he had to have his left foot amputated. James passed away at 4 o'clock on Tuesday afternoon.
