Michael J Connell (1790 - 1862) arrived in Australia on the ALIQUIS from Limerick Ireland and Margaret Nolan (1786/95- 1874) also on the Aliquis.
The parents of Michael Connell were James Connell and Mary (or Ellen) Sheahan

The family name was originally Connell but added the 'O' because of the following……
Interestingly,one of Michael's siblings (Patrick Connell - Born 1835 died 17.7.1866 ) along with several nephews and cousins, were known members of The Clarke gang (bushrangers in the Braidwood NSW area).

Michael married Margaret Nolan. (Margaret Nolan was born between 1786 and 1795 and died in 1874 ⁶⁴⁸.)
