My grandmother's maiden name was Dorothy Date and she had a brother named Dick (so I'm assuming it was Richard). She also had a couple of sisters but I think they may have been estranged. I recall there was a cousin of my mothers called Charlemagne
I think Richard Date may have had a farm as mum talks about visits when she was young.
