• note. ³⁶³ Robt Jenkins b abt 1811 died 13 Mar 1878 buried at Glenorchy. First marriage in 1847 to Bridget Gleeson daughter of John Gleeson. It appears that Bridget died sometime before his 2nd marriage (no records available). His second marriage in 1851 was to Emma (or Amy) Winifried Ryan (five children) Emma died 29 Apr 1861, buried at Glenorchy. His third marriage in 1861 was to Honara Keneally (date of death uncertain, may have been 1915 at Ballarat. One known child William born 1863. Robt Jenkins and a partner built the Glenorchy Royal Hotel in 1854, he was also appointed Postmaster at Glenorchy on 15 Feb 1850.
