Kathleen and her siblings remember as youngsters their mother and her sisters having some contact with Riach relatives; the greatest contact was with Jimmy & Marjory Robertson and their daughter Marjory; they also remember visits to Aberlour to see one of the brothers, who was postmaster there, of James Riach (born 1877). In recent times the only contact was with Marjory McKenzie (née Robertson). Kathleen and her siblings have therefore lost contact with all other Riachs although one would imagine that there must still be descendants of George Riach (born 1854) and Marjory Mair living in the north-east of Scotland.
