BACK TROVE - William Percy FLETCHER m. 3-2-1926 3rd February 1926 All Saints Church FLETCGER-BETTRIDGE The marriage of William Percy Fletcher (third son of Mr & Mrs E. Fletcher, Blair Athol) and Miss Alice Maud Bettridge (second youngest daughter of Mr & Mrs Charles Bettridge, Sandy Creek, Clermont) was solemnised by the Rev. E Olivant at All Saints' Church on February 3. The bride was given away by her father, wore a frock of ivory crepe de Chine and georgette, trimmed with fern leaf lace. Her veil was lent by Mrs A Crawford, and her bouquet by Mrs C Massey. The matron of honour, Mrs C Massey, was gowned in pink georgette, relieved with forget-me-nots with which she worn a hat to match. Mr Victor Bettridge performed the duties of best man. The breakfast was held at the residence of Mr & Mrs J.B. Heath, and later the bridal pair left for Yeppoon, where the honeymoon is being spent. (The Queenslander (Brisbane.
