Thomas Wilkes

  Research Notes:

kbarnicki has Thomas Wilkes (1633) parents as John Wilkes (1607 & Barbara Heyward (1615) however, I think it more likely that it was Richard Wilkes & Eleanor Whitcott & that Thomas was actually born in 1641 & married Elizabeth Lea.
So I have both Thomas Wilkes listed at this stage until it is proved either way.

Thomas married Elizabeth Lea on 13 Feb 1678 in Pitchford, Shropshire England.⁸⁹⁴ (Elizabeth Lea was born in 1641 in Shipton, Shropshire England and died in 1703 in Lancaster County, Virginia USA ⁸⁹⁴.)
