  Research Notes:

Helen Sasia notes:
THOMAS was the third son born to HENRY DIXON and ELIZABETH He was born in Hemlingford in 1823 and was christened Thomas Piddock Nock in Curdworth church on April 24th 1824. He appears later at the age of 18 on the census of 1841 at the family farm in Wiggins Hill. As he grew older he became a farmer himself of 130 acres at Lower Lickey End and got married to Elizabeth Featherston For many years they lived and worked on the farm together and progressed to a new farm at Lower Shepley where Thomas farmed 145 acres and employed four men to help him.
In 1870 when his father died Thomas is recorded as one of the executors of the will along with his two brothers. Elizabeth gave birth to their only child,
Kate in 1872 but sadly the little girl died only ten years later. In 1891 the census records that their niece Ellen Elizabeth Nock (again no idea who her parents are) is now living with them and by 1901 Thomas has retired from farming and they are living in Stoke Prior in Worcestershire. Thomas dies four years later at the age of 78.

Thomas married Elizabeth Palmer in Jul 1856 in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire England. (Elizabeth Palmer was born circa 1833 in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire England and died on 27 May 1907 in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire England.)
