  Research Notes:

Helen Sasia notes:
HENRY was the next child christened in Curd worth on 2 February 1820. He grew up to become a Corn factor and seedsman. In 1841 he has already left home and is lodging in the St Martins district of Birmingham where he is a junior apprentice dealer . He quickly rose to become a Corn factor and by 1851 was living in Dale end in Birmingham where he remained for the rest of his life. In 1869 he met and married Ellen (no record of her maiden name) and later that same year she gave birth to their first son whom they named Henry. In 1870 Henry's father died leaving his assets to be shared between his family so Henry presumably inherited a small amount of money. By the census of 1871 Ellen has provided him with a second son they called John Piddock but in December that year tragedy struck when little Henry died. Henry himself died on February 20th 1872 so poor Ellen was bereaved . She later married William J Adams and had two further children, both girls. Her son John Piddock grew up to follow his step-father's trade making iron tips for shoes; he went on to marry but when and to whom is unknown.

Henry married Ellen in 1869. (Ellen was born circa 1825 1038.)
